    During the 2022 HMT FFaIR Experiment, CAPS is running several ensembles of FV3-LAM forecasts on a CONUS domain for select weekdays in June and July 2022. Forecasts are initialized at 00 UTC (7:00 PM CDT). The goal of these forecasts is to assist the National Weather Service in determining an optimal configuration for the next generation FV3 ensemble, the Rapid Refresh Forecasting System (RRFS).
